In 2004, Nemiroff, after sponsoring the largest events in professional boxing for more than five years, the first among CIS countries, became one of the principal sponsors of four significant boxing events that took place in the U.S.
The first event was a boxing match for the title of world champion, WBC version (Arturo Gatti vs. Leonard Dorin), which took place on July 24, 2004 in Atlantic City, New Jersey, and ended in the second round with the victory of Arturo Gatti.
All boxing fans and professionals awaited the second match with great interest: the super heavyweight match between Mike Tyson and Denny Williams, which was held on July 30, 2004 in Louisville, Kentucky, and resulted in Williams' knockout victory in the fourth round.
The third match took place on August 7, 2004 in Mashantaket, Connecticut. It was the match for the WBO championship title between Acelino Freitas and Diego Corraleas, which Corrales won.
On December 12, 2004, one more boxing match took place, sponsored by Nemiroff: for WBC super heavyweight championship of the world between Vitaly Klitschko and Denny Williams. This boxing match gave both Ukrainian and American boxing fans great pleasure.
Boxing matches of this level are broadcast in 106 countries around the world. Moreover, it is very interesting to note that Nemiroff has risen to the highest level of world boxing. According to existing rules for conducting similar truly significant boxing matches, three to four sponsors should be attracted to cooperate, including a television channel with the exclusive right to broadcast boxing matches and the company that provides the premises for conducting the matches.
It is widely known that the cost of taking part in such projects is very high and the possibility of occupying advertising spot of world significance is presented only to those companies with a confirmed image as a reliable world brand with an impeccable business reputation. In 2004 Nemiroff not only received the status of an international brand, but also won first place in the world for the dynamics of its development (according to the data of the most authoritative international rating, the World Millionaires Club, Great Britain).
