International Journalistic Goldn Fern Contest from Ukrainian vodka company Nemiroff
The first international sponsor of Eurovision-2005, the company Nemiroff, has established a special prize, the Nemiroff Award, for the winner of the international song contest which will take place in Kyiv May 12-21. The Nemiroff Award will be conferred at a press conference held by the winner on May 21 in the Kyiv Cinema House as soon as the results of the contest are announced after the Eurovision-2005 final.

Ukraine has experience in organization and conducting top level events. Thus, during the inauguration of the President of Ukraine there were 500.000 viewers on the central square, at the same time public order and security measures for 60 heads of different states present at the event were provided at a very high level. Diplomats from the countries which took part in the inauguration also expressed their appreciation of the event security.

The company, which will provide safety and security of Eurovision in the Sports Palace itself, will be defined by tender. Other security sectors will be controlled by the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Emergency Ministry, Department of State Security and the Security Service of Ukraine.

The first international sponsor of the Eurovision Song Contest 2005 the Nemiroff Company announces an international contest for journalists "Golden Fern", which will be held from April until June this year in Ukraine, Russia and Poland.

Today, March 23, from 10.30 till 12.00, in the Arena entertainment complex there was held a press conference devoted to the results of the Heads of Delegations meeting of the 2005 Eurovision Song Contest participating countries and to the process of preparation to the Contest.

The Heads of Delegations meeting of the 2005 Eurovision Song Contest participating countries took place in the entertaining complex Arena on March 21. Svante Stockselius, the EBU Executive Supervisor, Taras Stetskiv, the NTU President and Pavlo Grytsak, the ESC-2005 Executive Producer, the NTU Vice-president, made their opening speeches.

A meeting of head delegates of the Eurovision Song Contest member-countries will take place on March 21-22 in Kyiv. The probable venue for the delegates' working meeting will be the Arena entertainment complex. The program of the meeting, in which more than 100 guests will take part, will include sharing news, discussing reports on the preparation of the performers and questions on the contest's organization (conducting a semi-final and final, ensuring the safety of the participants, guests and spectators, traffic, guest accommodations, accreditation of mass media representatives, etc.).

The European Broadcasting Union (EBU) declared the name of the first international sponsor of the 2005 Eurovision Song Contest that will take place in the capital of Ukraine from 19 May to 21 May 2005. The status of International Sponsor of the 2005 Eurovision Song Contest was awarded to Nemiroff Company, known for its support of the most significant international projects in sphere of art, fashion and sport.

Geneva, 6 December 2004 - The European Broadcasting Union has entered a sponsorship agreement with Nemiroff, a major international food and alcoholic beverage producer based in Ukraine, to serve as presenting partner of the 2005 Eurovision Song Contest to be hosted in Kiev by national Ukrainian broadcaster, NTU.
